The Gospel is this:
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father,
- was incarnate of the Holy Spirit by the virgin Mary,
- was alone born sinless,
- lived a sinless life,
- was crucified, died, and was buried,
- was raised on the third day, and
- ascended to the right hand of the Father;
in this work, Christ redeemed the world generally and believers specifically;
this salvation is applied to man solely via faith — without any contribution from his works — and solely due to grace, which is an attribute of God;
and those who believe, which is to say those who are numbered among the Elect, will receive eternal life in Paradise together with God and all His saints.
Outside this divine plan, there is neither salvation nor life nor hope, but only eternal death.
